Ashadi Ekadashi 2026 Details
Ashadi Ekadashi, also known as Devshayani or Shayani Ekadashi, is a major sacred Hindu festival marking the beginning of Lord Vishnu’s four-month rest (Chaturmas) and the onset of the monsoon season. It falls on the 11th day of the bright fortnight in the Ashadha month (June–July).
Mi Marathi Newcastle Group proudly celebrates Ashadi Ekadashi on the same auspicious day, and this is a free event for all devotees.
Devotees gather together to sing beautiful divine abhangas, performed by both children and adults, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere filled with devotion to Lord Vitthal.
